Agarwal Cabs is a New Delhi taxi operator that has run tour and outstation cab services since 2015. We designed and built a responsive WordPress website that helps travellers check routes and book a cab by phone or enquiry form in a few taps.
Project overview
People who need an outstation taxi usually search close to their travel date, often on a phone, and they compare two or three operators quickly. They want to know whether the operator covers their route, what kind of car they will get and how fast someone will answer. If a website is slow or confusing, they simply call the next number in the results.
Agarwal Cabs needed a website that answered those questions at a glance and made contacting the team the easiest next step. It also had to present the business as an established Delhi operator, so first-time customers would feel comfortable booking with them.
The challenge
The core problem was speed: a traveller deciding between taxi operators gives a website only a few seconds.
- Booking from a phone: most enquiries come from mobile users, so calling and sending an enquiry had to work with one tap from every page.
- Explaining many routes simply: outstation trips, local hire and tour packages needed to be clear without long blocks of text.
- Trust for first-time customers: travellers book with operators they have never met, so the site had to show who runs the service and how to reach them.
- Keeping information current: the team needed to update routes, vehicles and offers without technical help.
Our approach
- Route-first structure: we organised the site around the trips customers search for, such as outstation journeys and tour packages, rather than around the company’s internal services.
- Mobile-first design: we designed the phone layout first, with large call and enquiry buttons that stay easy to reach.
- Build on WordPress: we developed a dynamic site so the team can add routes, vehicles and offers from the dashboard.
- Search basics: we set clear page titles, headings and descriptions for the main services and routes so travellers can find the right page.
- Testing and launch: we tested forms, call links and page speed on mobile networks before going live.

- SEO-friendly page structure, delivered in 20 days
Technology and why we chose it
We built the site on WordPress with HTML5, CSS3 and PHP, using Bootstrap, JavaScript and jQuery for the layout and interactions and MySQL as the database. Bootstrap’s responsive grid keeps buttons and text easy to use on small screens, which matters for a business where most bookings start on a phone.
WordPress gives the Agarwal Cabs team a simple dashboard for updates. It is also widely supported, so hosting, maintenance and security updates are easy to manage over the years.
What this project shows
- For taxi and travel operators, the call button is the most important element on the page, so it should be visible on every screen.
- Organising content by the trips customers search for makes a site easier to use than listing services in company terms.
- A site the operator can update quickly stays accurate when routes and vehicles change.
